Description
Learning objective
With this training you will gain advanced knowledge for the creation of interactive websites. Along the way, you will get into the basics of programming.
You will learn the basic JavaScript language elements, you will program loops, branches, functions and HTML forms for the interaction with the user.
In the second part, you will deal with the basics of object-oriented programming. The introduction of the topics DOM (Document Object Model) and AJAX round off the training.
Intended audience
- Blind webmasters who design their static HTML pages dynamically with JavaScript.
- Blind users getting into programming.
Prerequisite knowledge
- Good knowledge of HTML. The HTML + CSS training is designed to meet these exact requirements.

- Screen reader software: COBRA or JAWS (all versions)
- HTML editor (e.g. Notepad++, Visual Studio Code or Eclipse) and the web browsers Edge and Mozilla Firefox
